No visit to Williamsburg would be complete without an evening in The Kitchen at Powhatan. Adjacent to the Manor House, the Kitchen provides the experience of dining in an 18^th century tavern.  The menu changes frequently using the freshest herbs and vegetables from the plantation garden, as well as local and regional products during the peak of their season. We are also proud of our elegant Special Events.

Chef Julia Fitchett blends a fusion of contemporary American regional artistry, fresh local fruits and vegetables, seafood and traditional fare to create the most unique dining experience in the area.  Small candle-lit dining rooms, a welcoming fireplace, white linen-covered tables adorned in fine china and colonial pewter, and friendly servers in period costumes provide an atmosphere that takes you back to a bygone era.
